Midfield dynamo Rashid Nortey has been adjudged the best Medeama Sporting Club player of the 2020/21 league season.
The first-ever awards ceremony of the club sponsored by Luxury Touch Hotel came off on Friday, October 22, 2021 in Tarkwa with Rashid Nortey winning the topmost award.
The knowledgeable midfielder beat off competitions from striker Prince Opoku Agyemang, midfielder Richard Boadu and defender Fatawu Sulemana.[ads2]
The other categories include Discovery of the Season, Defender of the Season, Midfielder of the Season, Forward of the Season, Fans’ Player of the Season and Goal of the Season.
The Mauve and Yellows enjoyed a decent campaign last season, finishing 5th on the Premier League table and ending the FA Cup adventure as semi-finalist.
