Medeama Sporting Club continued their chase for the Ghana Premier League title with a 0:2 victory over Legon Cities FC at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday evening.

Two first half goals from marksman Prince Opoku-Agyemang did the magic for the visitors to secure them the three maximum points.
The two sides entered the pitch with signs of wanting to annex the full points written on the faces of the players and the technical bench as well.
Legon Cities FC before the clash, have lost their last match to Berekum Chelsea and wanted to make amends by securing the full points whilst Medeama SC wanted to continue their run for the league after victory over Eleven Wonders in their last fixture.

Coach Samuel Boadu’ side proved that indeed they are in for business, scoring two goals within seventeen minutes in the first half with topscorer Prince Opoku-Agyemang snatching the two goals.
The former New Edubiase forward has now increased his tally to 11 goals on the Ghana Premier League topscorers chart.
He was also adjudged the man-of-the-match in the game after scoring two goals to help Medeama Sporting Club annex all points this evening.

The victory has also enabled Medeama Sporting Club to maintain the 1st position on the league log with 30 points though the rest of the 16 teams have played 14 matches.
