Sekondi Hasaacas continued their magnificent form in the division one league as they tamed Achiken FC at the Sekondi Sports Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
Substitute Roger Lamptey’s brace as well as defender Daniel Egyin’s strike ensured Hasaacas thump Achiken 3:0 this afternoon.
With the absence of agile goal monster Sampson Eduku, coach Ben Hayford decided to start rejuvenating Samuel Afful as the main man upfront with support from Philip Flamini and Justus Torsutsey.

The Giants of the West started bossing Achiken in the early minutes which led to Daniel Egyin’s opener in the 7th minute of the encounter.
Despite conceding the early goal, Achiken FC started putting the pieces together, making statements of wanting to snatch the leveller but all to no avail.
The game became a ding-dong affair as the two sides enjoyed possessions till the eve of the first half when Hasaacas took total control of the game but that didn’t change the scoreline in the first forty-five minutes.

Hasaacas returned from the tunnel to dictate the pace, knocking the doors of Achiken for another goal.
As when the supporters were crying for more goals, coach Ben Hayford brought in Roger Lamptey to try his luck upfront.
In the 85th minute, Roger Lamptey netted the second goal for Hasaacas before adding the final in the 89th minute with Obed Kofi Sam providing the assist.
