King Faisal Football Club secured their second victory of the season against Berekum Chelsea at the Nana Ameyaw Park in Techiman on Saturday.
Sensational Kwame Peprah bagged a hat-trick that cushioned King Faisal to come from behind to ditch Berekum Chelsea 4:3.
The visitors started the game on a good note, dominated King Faisal at their own backyard to score an astonishing three goals in less than twenty minutes of the first half of the game.[ads2]
Paul Attah Agyei broke the deadlock for Berekum Chelsea in just ten minutes into the first half before Stephen Amankonah made it 0:2 for the visitors in the 13th minute.
Surprisingly, coach Seth Hoffman’s boys kept pressuring King Faisal despite scoring the two early goals.
After five minutes of scoring the two goals, Paul Attah Agyei increased the lead to 0:3, making coach Andy Sinason astonished for conceding three quick goals before the twentieth minute.[ads3]
Before the first half break, Kwame Peprah pulled one back for King Faisal from the spot after Ushau Abu handled the ball in the penalty box.
King Faisal returned from the break with a different energy, showing glimpses of wanting to equalize all the goals.
Frimpong Boateng brought hopes to King Faisal in the 58th minute as he brilliantly netted the second goal for the home team.
Coach Andy Sinason made some changes which revitalized the King Faisal squad on the field of the pay.
Coach Sinson’s tactical changes paid off as Kwame Peprah restored parity for King Faisal in the 78th minute, charging the home fans at the stadium.
In just three minutes to the end of the game, Kwame Peprah beautifully and heroically netted the match winner for Great Olympics to snatch the three full points from Berekum Chelsea.[ads4]
King Faisal have now moved to tenth position on the Ghana Premier League log and will travel to Accra next weekend to face Great Olympics in week twelve while Berekum Chelsea host Bechem United at the Golden City Park..[ads5]
