Finally, in-form Kwame Opoku opened the gate for Asante Kotoko in the 54th minute with a thunderbolt strike which the Eleven Wonders goalkeeper failed to save the ball from entering the net.
The Porcupine Warriors tried to dissolute a resilient Eleven Wonders side, trying everything possible to get the second goal but all to no avail.
Eleven Wonders started warming themselves gradually into the game which led to Prince Opoku snatching the equalizer for the visitors in the 75th minute of the cagey encounter.[ads4]
