According to Kwesi Appiah, the trio have showed good leadership qualities as players during his days as Black Stars coach.
Appiah believes the three players can be great Ghanaian coaches in future if they decide to enter into coaching.
“Not every player wants the coaching job because most of these players feel there is a lot of pressure in being coach,” he told Otec FM.
“But players who become coaches are players who are leaders on the pitch. They know how to control their players and motivate them on the pitch.
“Even after retiring these player career that leadership attitude and keep that will to be coaches.”

Kwesi Appiah mentioned the names of the aforementioned players, when asked if he can name any of the players he coached who can be managers in future.
“I think Asamoah Gyan has the qualities, Andre has the quality of motivating players and so if he become a coach one day I won’t be surprise.
“Someone like Essien, he can be a good coach but his only problem will be to learn how to get close to his players because he is someone who is very reserved.”
