The Chief Executive Officer of Asante Kotoko, Nana Yaw Amponsah has said the doors of the club are always opened to coach Kwasi Appiah.
There have been reports in the media that Asante Kotoko are in talks to appoint the former Black Stars gaffer as their new head coach.[ads2]
Though the future of coach Mariano Barreto is not known at Asante Kotoko, the reports were that talks have reached the advanced stage.
But according to Nana Yaw Amponsah, the leadership of the club are deliberating on the future of coach Mariano Barreto.[ads3]
“Management and the board are discussing whether the coach should stay or not,” said Nana Yaw Amponsah on Starr FM’s Starr Chat show.
On the reports of Kwasi Appiah joining Asante Kotoko, Nana Yaw Amponsah said, “I can’t confirm or deny. I don’t want to go into that but if at any point in time Kwesi Appiah wants to come to Kotoko, the doors are opened,” he added.[ads5]
