The bankroller of King Faisal Football Club, Alhaji Grusah has said their striker Kwame Peprah is not for sale.
Peprah has emerged as a top transfer target for some top-notch Ghana Premier League clubs including Asante Kotoko, Hearts of Oak, AshantiGold SC, Medeama Sporting Club, Aduana Stars and others.[ads2]
It was even reported in the local media that, Hearts of Oak are almost done with the signing of the talented goal poacher who is currently King Faisal’s topscorer in the ongoing league season.
But with few hours to the closure of the transfer window in Ghana, Alhaji Grusah has stated that Kwame Peprah is not going anywhere this season.[ads3]
According to him, King Faisal is battling relegation and should Kwame Peprah leave, the team will suffer hence the refusal to sell the player in the ongoing transfer window.
“Kwame Peprah is not for sale. He is our talisman now and King Faisal is fighting relegation and we are not going to sell him now. If we are able to get out of relegation after the season then whether ocal or foreign, he can move”, Alhaji Grusah told Ashh FM.[ads4]
In other story, King Faisal have secured the services of Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Danlad Ibrahim till the end of the ongoing league season.
Danlad Ibrahim helped Ghana to lift the AFCON U-20 Tournament trophy in Mauritania and was adjudged the best goalkeeper of the tournament.
Reacting to the transfer of Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Danlad Ibrahim to King Faisal, Alhaji Grusah said that, “For Danlad [Ibrahim] to join us [King Faisal] on loan is good news for Faisal, he will help us in our goalkeeping department. This is the first time Kotoko have given me a player on loan but I have done a lot of things for Kotoko by given them my best players. Am praying we get out of relegation after the second round and pray Danlad succeed at King Faisal.”[ads5]
