AshantiGold Chief Executive Officer, Emmanuel Frimpong has denied reports of Asante Kotoko bidding for midfielder Seth Osei.
Kotoko were reported to have shown interest in Seth Osei who was a sensation for AshantiGold Sporting Club in the just ended league season.[ads2]
The report was that Asante Kotoko have submitted a bid worth Gh¢300,000.00 to the management of AshantiGold for the service of Seth Osei.
But Emmanuel Frimpong has rebuffed the reports, stating categorically that Asante Kotoko are yet to submit a bid for the highly talented midfielder.
“It is never true that Asante Kotoko have bided for Seth Osei”, Emmanuel Frimpong told Ashh FM.[ads3]
He added that Osei is worth more than the Gh¢300,000.00 being quoted in the media as the offer Asante Kotoko have tabled for the scintillating midfielder.
“The fact is, he [Seth Osei] is worth more than the Gh¢300,000 being quoted, however we are ready to release him with the right amount”, he added.
Seth Osei joined AshantiGold from fellow Ghana Premier League club Eleven Wonders in the second round of the 2020/21.[ads5]
