Black Stars defender Samuel Inkoom says Asante Kotoko will forever be the best club that he has ever played for as a footballer.
Inkoom who joined Asante Kotoko from Sekondi Hasaacas from 2008-2009 is considered as one of the best right-backs ever to wear the Kotoko jersey.

He helped the Porcupine Warriors to clinch the 2007-2008 Ghana Premier League title under the tutelage of former coach Bashiru Hayford.
His incredible performance for Kotoko and the Ghana U-20 team earned him a lucrative deal with FC Basel where he played for them from 2009-2011.
Despite playing for clubs like Basel, Dnipro, Bastia, Platanias, DC United and other European clubs, Inkoom believes Kotoko is his best club ever.
“I will say Kotoko is a big club and will forever be my best club to ever play for”, Inkoom told Kumasi based Fox FM.

He went ahead to revealed that he was receiving the lowest salary at Kotoko then despite his incredible performance for the team but, it didn’t had any effect on him since he was interested in playing for the club than the money aspect.
“When I was with Kotoko, I was receiving the lowest salary but I was looking at the future and not money. Frankly I was receiving GH¢150.00 as monthly salary”, he added.

Samuel Inkoom was an integral member of the Ghana U-20 side that won the Africa Youth Championship in Rwanda and the 2009 FIFA World Cup in Egypt.

Since making his Black Stars debut in 2008, Samuel Inkoom has capped 46 matches, scoring a goal.
He currently plays for Georgian side FC Samtredia after stint with Dunav Ruse in Bulgaria.
