Ghana Premier league heavyweight, Asante Kotoko have landed the acquisition of versatile defender Sheriff Mohammed.
According to sources, the enterprising defender has joined the Porcupine Warriors on a three-year, pending official announcement.[ads2]
Popularly known as ‘Samba’, Sheriff Mohammed has joined Asante Kotoko from division one league outfit Steadfast FC.
He was extraordinary for Steadfast FC last season which earned him a call-up to the Black Satellites.[ads3]
He was part of the 24 players that were invited by coach Karim Zito for the WAFU Zone B tournament in Benin.
Sheriff Mohammed is a versatile defender who convinces at every position he is played.
He boasts of impressive technique, good passing, areal prowess and ability to shoot from distance. He is a product of the legendary Colts club, Tamale Real Republicans FC.[ads5]
