Ghana Premier League heavyweight, Asante Kotoko have announced the signing of versatile defender Charles Owusu.
Owusu has joined the Porcupine Warriors on a three-year deal after successful medicals.[ads2]
He has joined Asante Kotoko from lower tier side B/A United following his spectacular form last season.
Owusu joined Kotoko to strengthen the team’s defence ahead of the upcoming league season which commence on October 29, 2021.[ads3]
Charles Owusu will have to battle with Imoro Ibrahim, Patrick Asmah for a starting role at the left back of Asante Kotoko next season.
He becomes the latest Asante Kotoko signing after Cameroonians Mfegue Georges and Mbella Etouga as well as Joseph Amoah, Dickson Afoakwa, Richmond Lamptey, Maxwell Agyemang, Collins Opoku, Isaac Oppong, Samuel Appiah, Richard Boadu, Samuel Boateng, Augustine Agyapong and Sheriff Mohammed.[ads5]
