Ghanaian champions, Asante Kotoko have mutually terminated the contract of head coach Seydou Zerbo.[ads2]
Kotoko have parted ways with the Burkinabe trainer after barely seven months of his appointment.
A statement from the club reads, “Asante Kotoko SC and Coach Seydou Zerbo have this morning mutually agreed to part ways. “[ads3]
Assistant coach, Abdul Gazale has been tasked to take over the club on the interim until a substantive coach is appointed.

Seydou Zerbo joined Asante Kotoko in August, 2022 to replace Prosper Narteh Ogum who guided the club to the Ghana Premier League trophy a year before his resignation.
As to why Asante Kotoko have parted ways with Seydou Zerbo remains unknown but the Burkinabe trainer recently lost his ten-year old son due to some complications after heart surgery.
