Asante Kotoko midfielder Justice Blay has received his player of the month of January 2020 award.

Blay was voted Kotoko best player in January 2020, beating off competitions from Christopher Nettey and deputy skipper Emmanuel Gyamfi.

He pulled a whopping 60 percent votes to clinch the accolade with right-back Christopher Nettey finishing second with 33 percent whilst Gyamfi had just 7.

Blay was awarded a plaque and an undisclosed amount after the team’s training at Adako Jachie on Saturday.
He won the award after capping five matches in the aforesaid month with a goal and three man-of-the-match awards.
