FC Samartex, a newly promoted Ghana Premier League outfit are reportedly interested in Asante Kotoko duo of Kwame Baah and Emmanuel Keyekeh.
Reports indicate that FC Samartex have contacted Asante Kotoko for the service of the two players as they strengthen squad for their debut Ghana Premier League season.
It is believed that yet-to-be appointed head coach of Samartex, Annor Walker has recommended the two players to the management of FC Samartex as he is determined to build a solid squad for the Ghana Premier League next season.
Keyekeh couldn’t command ample playing time last season due to injury but has attracted interest from coach Annor Walker who double as the head coach of the Black Galaxies national team.
But despite his extraordinary qualities, Emmanuel Keyekeh could still be lodging on the Kotoko bench due to the presence of Richard Boadu, Justice Blay and other midfielders in the team’s set-up hence FC Samartex eagerness to secure his signature.
Goalkeeper Kwame Baah on the other hand couldn’t beat Danlad Ibrahim for the Kotoko first choice spot and was on the bench most part of the last season.
And with reports linking Bechem United goalkeeper Iddrisu Abdulai to Kotoko, Kwame Baah could be heading to FC Samartex should negotiations end in success.
Meanwhile, Annor Walker is expected to be officially announced as FC Samartex head to coach after Black Galaxies CHAN qualifiers against Benin.
