Asante Kotoko are set to send their defender Ampem Dacosta to fellow premiership side Legon Cities FC on loan.

According to reports in the local media, Legon Cities FC have written to the management of Asante Kotoko for the services of the defender who has been deemed as surplus to requirement.

Per the reports, head coach of Legon Cities FC Goran Barjaktarevic believes the 21-year old is the right defender to bring stability to the defense of his side who are currently sitting 14th on the league log 13 points after 12 matches.

Should the deal materialized, Dacosta will become the second Asante Kotoko player to join the Accra based side after Stephen Ayiku Tetteh.
Dacosta joined Asante Kotoko on a three-year deal in July 2019 from Karela United.
