Ghana Premier League sides Asante Kotoko and Ashgold Sporting Club have been ranked among the top fifty clubs in Africa.

The two clubs were the only Ghanaian teams ranked among the best fifty clubs in the continent with 2004 CAF Confederation Cup champions Hearts of Oak missing from the list.
The survey conducted by Footballdatabase was based on the team’s performances in the CAF Champions League and the CAF Confederation Cup.
Tunisian giant Esperance de Tunis lead the list with All Ahly finishing second whilst TP Mazambe were ranked third.
No Ghanaian club finished in the top twenty despite Asante Kotoko consecutive participation in the competitions.
Per the rules, the standings might change in June 2020 after the ongoing CAF Champions League and the CAF Confederation Cup.
