Ghana Premier league powerhouse, Asante Kotoko have announced the acquisition of Cameroonian striker Franck Thierry Mbella Etouga.
The 20-year old has joined the Porcupine Warriors on a three-year deal after successful negotiations.[ads2]
Etouga has joined Asante Kotoko from Cameroonian top-flight side AS Fortuna after explosive form last season.
Kotoko statement reads, “We are delighted to announce the signing of Cameroonian U20 forward Mbella Etouga. The 20yr old joins us on a three year deal from AS Fortuna in the Cameroonian top-flight.”
He netted 8 goals and provided 9 assists in 21 appearances last campaign.[ads3]
Etouga is already in Dubai for Asante Kotoko preseason tour.
The Porcupine Warriors have pitched camp in the United Arab Emirates as they continue preparations ahead of the new season.
Mbella Etouga has become Asante Kotoko newest signing after Stephen Amankona, Joseph Amoah, Dickson Afoakwa, Richmond Lamptey, Maxwell Agyemang, Collins Opoku, Isaac Oppong, Samuel Appiah, Richard Boadu, Samuel Boateng, Augustine Agyapong and Sheriff Mohammed.[ads5]
