Ghana Premier League side Karela United have landed a bumper sponsorship deal from the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC).
The Ayinase-based club have landed a three-year deal from GNPC starting from the 2020/21 league season.[ads2]
Karela United will be getting $100,000.00 a year from GNPC with the total deal amounting to $300,000.00 for the three years period.
This was made known by the Chief Executive Officer of GNPC, Dr. KK Sarpong when commissioning the newly constructed artificial turf at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park on Sunday afternoon in Ayinase.[ads3]
The newly constructed artificial turf at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park is estimated to cost $1.9million is one of many built by GNPC through its Foundation across the country.
The project began some months ago and currently ready for use by Karela United as their home ground for the 2020/21 league season.[ads5]
