Karela United have denied Nzema Kotoko access to use the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park citing failure to sign striker Agyenim Boateng as one of the reasons.
Nzema Kotoko are currently using the Gyandu Park in Sekondi as venue in the ongoing division one league after their venue was rejected by the GFA Club Licensing Board.
The Ampain-based club before choosing Gyandu Park as the home venue requested Karela United to co-share the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park but their request has been rejected.[ads2]
It would be recalled that during the 2019/20 league season, Karela United who were struggling with goal scoring wanted to sign Nzema Kotoko’s Agyenim Boateng but the deal was halted.
But Karela United have revealed in a statement that, Nzema Kotoko refused to sell to them Agyenim Boateng because of rivalry, rather opted to let the talented striker join Dreams FC despite a gross interest from Karela United.[ads3]
In this regard, Karela United have also refused to grant Nzema Kotoko access to CAM Park in the ongoing division one league season.
