Former Ghana FA Vice President George Afriyie has denied interest in taking over the vacant Chief Executive Officer role at Asante Kotoko.
The astute Football administrator and Phar Rangers CEO Nana Yaw Amponsah have been heavily linked to the role after the newly formed Kotoko Board Members dissolved the immediate past management team which was led by current Ghana FA Executive Committee member George Amoakoh.
But George Afriyie has issued a statement indicating that he has no intentions of taking over the CEO role at Asante Kotoko despite lots of calls for the position.
