Ashgold Sporting Club Chief Executive Officer Frederick Acheampong has resigned from his position, Kyfilla.com has learnt.
The astute media personality has stepped down from his position after tendering his resignation letter to the leadership of the Ghana Premier League outfit.

Achiee took to his twitter page to announced his resignation from the Obuasi based club.
End of a golden road.
I have tendered in my resignation as C.E.O. of @AshantiGoldSC_ effective 30th April 2020.
I have grown and learnt immensely at the club but it’s time to move on for personal reasons.

Meanwhile, the President of Ashgold, Dr. Kwaku Frimpong has also confirmed that he has received a resignation letter from Frederick Acheampong and he has accepted it.
“Yes it’s true, I have received Achie’s [Frederick Acheampong] resignation letter and have accepted it”, said Dr. Kwaku Frimpong on Oyerepa FM.

Frederick Acheampong who works with Kessben FM and TV was appointed the CEO of Ashgold Sporting in 2018.
He has served as a management member at New Edubiase and Kessben FC [ now Medeama SC].
He is currently a member of the Ghana Football Association Executive Committee.
