Black Stars of Ghana defender John Boye has named his best eleven during his spell with the team.
The 33-year old made his Black Stars debut in June 2008 against Gabon and was included in the Ghana’s squad for the 2012 AFCON.

He was a key figure in the Black Stars squad that nearly won the 2015 AFCON but lost the grand finale to neighbours Ivory Coast.
Though has been excluded in the Black Stars recent outings, it looks likely that the Metz defender could return to the national team following his performance in the French Ligue 1.

Surprisingly, Boye named his squad without goalkeeper Richard Kingston and Jonathan Mensah; two players who have been instrumental for the Black Stars during Boye’s era.

Boye who has capped 67 times for the Black Stars with 6 goals, chose goalkeeper Adam Kwarasay in posts ahead of Fatau Dauda and current number one Richard Ofori.
As expected, the former Hearts of Lions centre-back went in for a defence of himself and John Mensah with Abdul Baba Rahman and Harrison Afful finishing the left and right back roles respectively.
He went in for Mubarak Wakaso and Afriyie Acquah pair in the holding midfield with Andre Ayew and Christian Atsu at the right and left sides of the wings.
