Yet-to-be announced Sekondi Hasaacas head coach, Joe Agyemang Jnr has been given the greenlight to bring in his new backroom staff.
Hasaacas are currently without an assistant coach and goalkeeper’s trainer as they begin preparations for the next league season.[ads2]
Goalkeeper’s coach Nii Aryee has relinquished his position at the club after years of active service while the assistant coach role is vacant after Joe Agyemang Jnr was elevated to the position of head coach.
Speaking to Takoradi-based Ahoto FM, the communication director of Hasaacas, Macall Mensah stated that Joe Agyemang Jnr has been given the powers to bring in his new backroom staff as the next league season beckons.
“We have given Joe Agyemang the greenlight to bring in his new backroom staff because the goalkeeper’s trainer [Nii Aryee] has left and there is no assistant coach now”, he said…[ads3]
On why the club has not officially announced Joe Agyemang Jnr as the mmmmnew head coach despite assuming duties, Macall Mensah stated that discussion is ninety percent done and there will be an official communique once the deal is concluded.
“The deal is ninety percent done but we will make it official once we are done with everything but I can assure you Joe Agyemang Jnr will be our coach for the next league season. ”
Asked whether Hasaacas have officially received offers for any of their players, Macall Mensah said, “Yes… we have received offers for one or two players but we are yet to hold discussion on them. “[ads5]
