The 26-year old left-back cum winger came off the bench to score his first goal in the season for the Eagles at the Turf Moor today.
Ivorian striker Wilfred Zaha fired the visitors to the lead in the 45th minute of the fascinating fixture to end the first half.
As things were becoming tough for the Eagles, coach Roy Hodgson had to sacrifice Andros Townsend in the 70th minute for the Ghanaian international.
In the 78th minute, Schlupp had the match winner for Crystal Palace to end the game as 2:0 winners.
Meanwhile compatriot Jordan Ayew lasted the 82nd minute after a dazzling performance even though he didn’t score as expected of him. He was substituted for Belgian forward Christian Benteke.
