Akaminko has left AshantiGold SC after the expiration of his contract.
Though there were talks for a contract renewal, the two parties have mutually agreed to go separate ways.

In a letter sighted by Kyfilla.com, the midfield dynamo expressed his gratitude to the entire AshantiGold SC team for the wonderful supports since joining the team.
Akaminko has joined the likes of Shafiu Mumuni who was released by AshantiGold SC few weeks ago after expiration of his contract.

Meanwhile, AshantiGold SC are preparing for the next season’s CAF Confederation Cup campaign.
