The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced free coaching course for seventy women interested to be in the coaching field.
According to the GFA, this forms part of its effort to ensure equal participation in the men-dominated football industry and encourage women to develop keen interest in football.
The governing body of Ghana football says it is ready to provide free CAF licence ‘D’ coaching course for forty women and thirty for the licence ‘C’.
The GFA announced this on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 as part of celebrating this year’s international women’s day which is expected to focus on the priority theme for the 67th Session of the Commission on the Status of Women which is “Innovation and technological change, and education in the digital age for achieving gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls”.
This year’s theme of the international women’s day is christened as DigitALL; Innovation and technology for gender equality.
