Former Hearts of Oak skipper Yaw Amankwaa Mireku says he is at the same level with FC Barcelona and Argentina Superstar Lionel Messi.
Amankwah Mireku played for Hearts of Oak from 1997-2007, helping the team to win the CAF Champions League (2000), CAF Confederation Cup (2004), Ghana Premier League titles among others.
With his achievements at Hearts of Oak, Amankwah Mireku believes he is on the same pedestal with Lionel Messi in terms of trophies.

“I have equally done everything Messi has done for Barcelona for Hearts of Oak. Messi has won the champions league for Barca, he has won the UEFA Super cup, I have also won the champions league and the CAF Cup.
“I will not brag but it’s the reality that I can be compared to him (Messi). The only thing he has done better than me is winning the Balon D’Or.
“But the sad reality is whether I can compare myself to him in terms of worth”, Amankwah Mireku told Kumasi FM.
