Asante Kotoko defender Ampem Dacosta has reportedly told head coach Maxwell Konadu not to put him on transfer since he is not ready to leave the team.
Kyfilla.com earlier broke the news that, Ghana Premier League side Legon Cities FC have written to Kotoko for the services of the defender on a loan deal.

But the former Karela United centre-back is reported to have held a discussion with coach Maxwell Konadu on last Wednesday before their Premier League game with Karela United on Friday, stating categorically clear that he doesn’t want to leave Kotoko since he is ready to fight for a first team slot.
A reports by Kumasi based Oyerepa FM indicate that, Ampem Dacosta emphatically told coach Maxwell Konadu during their meeting to let the management reverse their decision of putting him on a transfer.

Currently Kotoko boast of centre-backs like Habib Mohammed, Wahab Adams, Emmanuel Agyeman Badu and Abdul Ganiyu and want Ampem Dacosta to go on loan to get regular playing time.
Ampem Dacosta joined Asante Kotoko on a three-year deal in July 2019 from fellow premiership side Karela United.
