Asante Kotoko deputy skipper, Emmanuel Gyamfi has denied reports of him joining Aduana Stars.
The speedy winger was widely reported in the local media to have commenced talks to join Aduana Stars for the next league season.[ads2]
It was reported that Gyamfi had met some top management members at Aduana Stars for a possible deal from Asante Kotoko.
But Gyamfi has denied the rumours, stating that he still has a contract with Kotoko and has not held talks with any member from Aduana Stars.[ads3]
“I’m still Asante Kotoko player and I have a contract with the club which I respect it. Those rumour going rounds that I will leave the club aren’t true,” Gyamfi told Success FM.
“There’s nothing true about it and I’ve not met any one from Aduana Stars also regarding a possible move. I’m hoping to join my teammates for the pre-season and work hard to achieve our aims,” he added.
Emmanuel Gyamfi joined Asante Kotoko in 2016 from Legon Cities FC as a free agent and currently as the deputy captain for Kotoko.[ads5]
