Former Hearts of Oak superstar, Bernard Dong-Bortey has denied media reports that he is dead.
There were reports making rounds in the media that, the legendary goal poacher has joined His Maker.

But Dong-Bortey has denied the reportage, stressing that he is alive and kicking.
Speaking on Kumasi-based Ashh FM, Dong-Bortey said, I was first told by your [Ashh FM] producer that someone has posted on his Facebook timeline that am dead”

“I am not dead. God has blessed me with life. I will plead that if is something spiritual, the person should contact me and I will do something about it.
Reacting on the demise of famous Hearts of Oak supporter Shomo Quaye, Dong-Bortey said, “He was a die-hard supporter and I say he should rest in peace. I will plead with the supporters and leaders to try their best to take care of his wife and children.”
