Popular Nigerian rapper, singer, and songwriter Tochukwu Gbubemi Ojogwu, also known as Odumodublvck, caused a stir online after posting on his Instagram that he will never collaborate with a Ghanaian artist if Nigeria loses the match.
However, the Super Eagles of Nigeria were beaten by the host nation, Morocco, to reach the final. The match went to a penalty shootout, which is basically anybody’s game.
The musician made such a comment after realizing that CAF had selected a Ghanaian referee, Daniel Laryea, to be the centre referee.
Several Nigerians have expressed dissatisfaction with the referee chosen to oversee that crucial clash between two African football powerhouses.
Currently, the Moroccans are reaching the AFCON final to face the former champions, Senegal, in a titanic clash on Sunday, January 20th, 2026.
The musician has already featured some Ghanaian artists such as Sarkodie and Black Sherif.
