Bibiani Goldstars striker, Abednego Tetteh has promised not to celebrate should he score against former club Hearts of Oak on Saturday, March 11, 2023.[ads2]
Goldstars will host the former league Champions at the Duns Park in week 21 of the Ghana Premier League tomorrow.
But Abednego Tetteh who left Hearts of Oak in August, 2021 after an unsuccessful spell has promised to score against the Phobians but will not bother to celebrate out of respect for the club.[ads3]
“I won’t celebrate if I score against Hearts of Oak tomorrow at Duns Park because I have huge respect for them as a former club. I’m hoping to score against them but they should forgive me even if I celebrate after scoring against them”, Tetteh told Wontumi Radio/TV in an interview monitored by Kyfilla.com on Friday, March 10, 2023.
The former Bechem United talisman is confident Goldstars will beat Hearts of Oak at the Duns Park to continue their impressive form at home.[ads4]
“I will urge our [Bibiani Goldstars] fans to come in their numbers just as they did in our independence day game against Aduana Stars. We will definitely beat Hearts of Oak on Saturday”, he added.
Abednego Tetteh has currently scored eight goals in the Ghana Premier League this season, sitting fourth on the topscorer’s log.[ads5]
