Former Ghana U-20 midfielder, Bright Addae has expressed his desire to play for Ghana Premier League heavyweight Asante Kotoko before retiring from active football.
The 28-year old is currently playing for Romanian outfit FC Hermannstadt after leaving Italian lower- tier side Juve Stabia.[ads2]
Addae who was an inch closer to joining Asante Kotoko before moving abroad, has said that he will definitely play for the Porcupine Warriors before hanging his boots.
“Asante Kotoko is a great club, I have been supporting the club from infancy so I will wear the jersey of Kotoko as a player before I retire from active football. If you want to play for a club with a great history like Asante Kotoko you have to train hard and be consistent”, he said.[ads3]
“Playing for Asante Kotoko will be a dream come true because the club is one of the biggest clubs on the African continent and the fan base of the club is very huge of which they are known across the globe”. Addae added.
Bright Addae played for Wa All Stars now Legon Cities FC before moving abroad where he joined Italian Serie A side Parma in 2010.[ads4]
Since then, he has played for Terressa, Crotone, Gorica, Gubbo, Ascoli, Juve Stabia and now with FC Hermannstadt in Romania.
He was part of the Ghana squad that won the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Egypt.
Bright Addae made three appearances during the tournament in Egypt and was a great contributor.[ads5]
