Hearts of Oak new signee Abednego Tetteh has disclosed that he rejected an offer to join Asante Kotoko even before he landed the Hearts of Oak deal.
Tetteh joined Hearts of Oak on two-year deal before the second transfer window was closed.

The former Bechem United goal monster has disclosed that, Asante Kotoko were on his neck with offers after he terminated his contract with Ethiopian side Jimma Aba Jifar.
The 29-year old attacker has said because his love for Hearts of Oak, he had to reject an offer from Asante Kotoko, who were keen on signing him to beef up their attack.
“I can wear any club’s jersey to play against Hearts but not that of Kotoko. It’s the reason I didn’t consent to the move to Kotoko,” he said.

“I moved to Ethiopia from Al Hilal to play for Jimma Aba Jiffa but upon my arrival, I was not happy with the terms given me. What I was told before was different from what I went to see.”
“While I was preparing to move away from the club, I had calls from Kotoko that they need me badly. But my family is a Hearts of Oak family and I can’t play for Kotoko,”.
