Blay was speaking about his commitment to Kotoko and how the club has made him a huge figure in the domestic league.
Though his loan deal with Kotoko will end after the league season, Blay indicated that he would love to stay at Kotoko but that will depend whether Kotoko can meet the demand of his parent club Medeama Sporting Club.
“I can’t decide whether I will at Kotoko or go back to Medeama, it all depends between the two clubs but obviously I want to play for Kotoko. You can not compare the two clubs, I even prefer playing Kotoko to traveling abroad”, Blay told Kumasi FM.

When asked whether he would love to join Hearts of Oak should Kotoko fail to meet Medeama demands, the former Sekondi Eleven Wise midfielder stated that he will never join the Phobians should they even meet the demands of Medeama.
“I can’t play for Hearts of Oak, I am a Kotoko player now. Should Kotoko fail to meet the demands of Medeama in a permanent deal, I will add my own money to avoid a move to Hearts of Oak should they be able to meet the demand.
“I cannot be ungrateful to Asanteman and the Kotoko fans for everything they have done for me.

Blay however revealed how Hearts of Oak were persuading him to sign for them and how his loan deal to Kotoko started.
“Medeama played Kotoko at Tarkwa which we won. CK Akonnor sent Muntari Tagoe to come for my number which talks begun. Moses Parker was reluctant in releasing me for Asante Kotoko but I insisted. Others came in to convince him and he eventually agreed to loan me to them.
“There were many approach for me to join Hearts of Oak during my days at Medeama but couldn’t be successful.
“I remember how one supporter of them who is a police officer(Sheriff Phobia) at Takoradi who was on my neck to sign for them but gave up on me” he concluded.
Justice Blay has become one of the most important players for Kotoko in the 2019/20 league season becoming the fans favorite in the team’s set up.
