Former Black Stars Management Committee Chairman Wilfred Osei Palmer has stated that he has never influenced player selection into any of the national teams.
According to the highly respected football administrator, during his times at the Ghana FA, he never influenced players selection into any of the national team and even not in the future.

The President of Tema Youth Football Club was speaking on his earlier comments that, most of the Ghana Football Association officials influenced players selection into the various national teams.
“I have never influenced player selections in any of the national teams. Anyone who will come out with evidence that I have done something like that before, I will quit football”, Palmer told Fox FM.

When asked whether during his time at the Ghana FA he experienced a situation whereby someone tried to give him money to influence a selection in any of the national teams, Mr. Osei Palmer said that, “yes… I remember during my days at the Ghana FA, one man tried that by attempting to give me money to help his player get a national team call-up, but I refused, lots of people attempted but I stood on my grounds and rejected all.”
Wilfred Osei Palmer was vying for the Ghana FA Presidential position but was disclosed by the Vetting Committee of the then Normalization Committee of which he has sent the case to the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS).
