[ads1]Former Sekondi Hasaacas and Hearts of Oak central defender, Kwabena Boafo has said he doesn’t monitor the Ghana league and other domestic competitions in the country.
According to Kwabena Boafo, he doesn’t monitor the local games not because it’s not attractive but because he doesn’t get the chance to do so.[ads2]
“I don’t watch the local league not because it’s not attractive but I don’t get the chance. I only watch the European leagues”, he said.
Kwabena Boafo said this when he was asked in an interview by Kyfilla.com reporter Stephen Kwame Yeboah on his view of the performance of the current locally-based players in the Ghana Premier League and the other domestic competitions.[ads3]
Kwabena Boafo played for Sekondi Hasaacas from 1997-2001 where he capped 59 matches for the team.
He joined Hearts of Oak in 2001 where he spent ten seasons with the Accra-based club and played 95 matches, scoring 8 goals as a central defender.
Kwabena Boafo capped once for Ghana senior national team in 2005.
