Ebusua Dwarfs head coach, Ernest Thompson has urged the Ghanaian media to desist from utilizing their energies into promoting Asante Kotoko Brazilian import, Fabio Gama.
According to coach Ernest Thompson, Fabio Gama is not an extraordinary player and doesn’t deserve the hype given to him by the Ghanaian media.[ads2]
Speaking in an interview on Kumasi-based Hello FM, coach Ernest Thompson stated that, there are other Ghanaian players in the domestic league performing better than Fabio Gama and must be given the attention.
“I know Fabio Gama, he is just a normal player midfielder like any other Ghanaian player, ” he told Kumasi-based Hello FM.
“I think we have better midfielders than Fabio Gama in Ghana. Let us stop hyping him because he is a Brazilian and hype out own.[ads3]
“There are better players in the league and we have players who are even playing better than Fabio Gama.
“I am not saying he is a bad player but we have players who are doing better than him.” He added[ads4]
Fabio Gama joined Asante Kotoko in October last year as a free agent.
The Brazilian has played only three matches so far this season without scoring a goal but assisting once.[ads5]
