Asante Kotoko sponsor Hisense have gifted Elmina Sharks player Alhaji Mustapha for scoring against the club on Sunday afternoon.
This was contained in Asante Kotoko deal with Hisense that any player that score a winning goal against the Porcupines will be rewarded a sum of Gh¢5,000.00[ads2]
And Mustapha scored the only goal when Elmina Sharks defeated Asante Kotoko by a goal to nil in week 34 of the Ghana Premier league at the Lenclay Sports Stadium this afternoon.
It was a cagey encounter with the first half ending in goalless before Alhaji Mustapha netted the only goal in the 56th minute.[ads3]
Suraj Ibrahim sent a cross of which the Kotoko defence failed to deal with and falls on Alhaji Mustapha at far post who made no mistake by plotting into the net to give his side the lead after 56th minute.[ads4]
The victory has enabled Elmina Sharks to escape relegation – pushing Ebusua Dwarfs, Liberty Professionals and Inter Allies to the division one league.
