Two-times Africa Cup of Nations winner Herve Renard has named six Ghanaian footballers in his Africa Best XI.
The French tactician chose the players as his best that he has coached in the African continent.
Renard was the assistant coach of the Black Stars of Ghana during the 2008 AFCON under the tutelage of head coach Claude Le Roy.

He went ahead to win the 2012 AFCON with the Zambia national team and also the 2015 AFCON where he defeated Ghana to lift the ultimate.
In an interview with Juliet Bawuah of TV3, the Saudi Arabia national team gaffer named six Ghanaians in his squad with Ghana’s all-time leading topscorer Asamoah Gyan leading the attack.

Herve Renard chose former Black Stars, Wigan Athletic and Blackpool goalkeeper Richard Kingston in post.

In defence, he went in for John Mensah and Kolo Habib Toure pair in the heart of defense while Medhi Banatia and Achraf Hakimi complete the left and right-back roles respectively.
He went in for Yaya Toure and Michael Essien pair in the holding midfield with Siaka Tiene, Sulley Muntari and Andre Ayew playing behind Asamoah Gyan.
The likes of Jordan Ayew, Gervinho and Younes Belhanda as substitutes.
