Ghana Premier League heavyweight Hearts of Oak have terminated the contracts of two players.
The Phobians have abrogated the contracts of Emmanuel Mintah and Charles McCarthy.

McCarthy joined the Phobians from Elmina Sharks in January 2019 as a free agent.
He was a coy figure in the Elmina Sharks squad that qualified them to the Ghana Premier League about four years ago.

He was not having enough playing time at Hearts of Oak which has seen his contract terminated.

Emmanuel Mintah on the other hand, joined the 2004 CAF Confederation Cup champions from Karela United as a free agent in September 2019.
He has been axed from the team following his poor output in performance.
Meanwhile, Hearts of Oak have made new signings like Eric Dizan, Mamane Lawali Abdourahman, Abednego Tetteh, Danjuma Kuti and others to strengthen their squad.
