Kumasi based Oyerepa FM have reported that management of Ghana Premier League side Hearts of Oak have proposed forty percent pay cut to the players.
According to the report, the management of the Rainbow giant have written to the players to slash down their month of April salary by forty percent.

The move is to support the club as football activities in the country has been put on hold due to the outbreak of the deadly Coronavirus disease.
The slash down of salaries is not applicable to only the players but all staff at the club including the management as well, Kyfilla.com understands.

Per the report, the players of the 2004 CAF Confederation Cup champions are yet to communicate back to the management whether they will accept the proposal or not.
