As part of strengthening their midfield, Ghana Premier League heavyweight Hearts of Oak have made a move to sign Asokwa Deportivo youngster Emmanuel Osei.
According to the General Manager of Asokwa Deportivo Otuo Acheampong, the Phobians have enquired about the availability of the midfielder who has been splendid for the division one league outfit this season.

Confirming the news, Mr. Otuo Acheampong stated emphatically on Oyerepa FM that, “We [Asokwa Deportivo] have received a letter from Hearts of Oak enquiring about our player Emmanuel Osei. We have acknowledged receipt and management will meet on that to take a decision”.
Osei has been exceptional for Asokwa Deportivo in the ongoing division one league campaign, and was very instrumental when the team defeated Asante Kotoko 2:1 in the MTN FA Cup round of 64 at the Lenclay Sports Stadium last weekend.

With Hearts of Oak boasting of Benjamin Afutu, Emmanuel Nettey, Frederick Ansah Botchwey and Nurudeen Abdul Aziz in the midfield, signing Emmanuel Osei will enrich the team’s bench.
