Ghana Premier league giants, Hearts of Oak have explained why midfielder Gladson Awako has been absent from the training.
Awako is yet to feature in a game for the Phobians after joining them months ago from city rivals Great Olympics.[ads2]
There were reports that the former TP Mazembe star has decided to quit Hearts of Oak without playing a single game, citing spiritual issues as the main problem.
Other reports making the headlines was that Gladson Awako is not feeling too well and has asked for permission to treat himself at home before resuming training.[ads3]
These were before their CAF Champions league game against Guinean side CI Kamsar and many thought Gladson Awako will return to training after the cagey encounter.
Awako is yet to return to training, a situation which has forced many to conclude that indeed the experienced midfielder has left the club without capping a single game for the reigning Ghana Premier league champions.[ads4]
But Hearts of Oak in a release have explained that Awako has experienced some personal difficulties hence preventing him from training with the club.
The club believes the former Ghana U20 midfielder will soon return to training after sorting out the personal difficulties.
