Resumption of Training
Hasaacas have been off since August 1, 2021 when the 2020/21 league season came to an end.
And Macall Mensah has said the first team is resuming training at the Takoradi Technical University Park on Monday, September 6, 2021.
This is to prepare the club ahead of the 2021/2022 league season after an unimpressive performance last season where they managed to place tenth after 30 league matches.
Appointment of Head Coach
He confirmed that the management of Sekondi Hasaacas have elevated assistant coach Joe Agyemang Jnr to the position of head coach for the next league season.[ads4]
The former Asante Kotoko player has been handed the position following the departure of former head coach Mustapha Fudail who refused to sign a new contract after the 2020/21 league season.
Macall Mensah said the management have given Joe Agyemang Jnr the greenlight to appoint his new backroom staff as the team aim to make a case for themselves next season in the zone II of the division one league.
He revealed that this has become necessary after goalkeeper’s trainer Nii Aryee decided to leave the club after years of active services.[ads5]
