Hasaacas Ladies will now face Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa in the final of the CAF Women’s Champions League on Friday.
This was after women’s team of Mamelodi Sundowns managed to defeat Equatorial Guinea’s Malabo Kings in the second semifinal game at the El Salaam Stadium in Cairo on Monday evening.[ads2]
Malabo Kings managed to drag Mamelodi Sundowns to the penalty shootouts of the crunch game after a goalless stalemate in the regulation period.
The game ended 5:4 on penalty shootouts in favour of Mamelodi Sundowns to set up Hasaacas Ladies final.[ads3]
Earlier today, Hasaacas Ladies had beaten ASFAR of Morocco by 2:0 with goals from Doris Boaduwaa and in-form Evelyn Badu with Najat Badri scoring the consolation for ASFAR.
Hasaacas Ladies will be hoping to add the CAF Women’s Champions League trophy to their cabinet after winning this year’s Ghana Women’s Premier League, Ghana FA Cup and the WAFU Cup.
Coach Yusif Basigi’s charges will be going into the final game with Evelyn Badu scoring challenging for the top scorers award with five goals.[ads5]
