Hasaacas Ladies have announced the signing of two new players to bolster their squad for the upcoming WAFU Women’s Championship.
The reigning Ghana Women’s Premier league and FA Cup champions have confirmed the signing of Jafaru Rahama and Issaku Lauratu.[ads2]
The two are the only additions to the double winning squad ahead of the WAFU Zone B Women’s Championship.
Jafaru Rahama has joined the club from Northern Zone side Northern Ladies FC fresh from clinching the top scorer gong in the 2020/2021 Women’s FA Cup by scoring 9 goals.
Per the directive of the tournament shirt numbers should range between 1 and 21 and Jafaru Rahama will be wearing shirt number 17.[ads3]
She’s currently with the Black Princesses of Ghana and adds to the already stellar attack of Hasaacas Ladies that comprise of Milot Pokuaa, Doris Boaduwaa and Veronica Appiah that powered in 37 goals in both competitions last season.
Jafaru Rahama has joined Hasaacas Ladies alongside Mfantseman Royal Football Club’s Issaku Lauratu.
Issaku Lauratu will be donning shirt number 12.[ads4]
Issaku Lauratu who’s 5 months away from her 18th birthday is a center back who shone in Hasaacas Ladies friendly encounter with her side before the start of the 2020/2021 Women’s Football Season.
Hasaacas Ladies are currently preparing at the Ghanaman Soccer of Excellence Prampram ahead of the trip to Cote D’Ivoire for the WAFU Zone B Women’s Championship[ads5]
