Ghana Premier League side Great Olympics are close to transferring ace defender Samuel Abbey Quaye to FC Basel in Switzerland.
The 20-year old talented left-back has landed in Switzerland to complete the move after magnificent form with Great Olympics last season.[ads2]
He arrived in the European country on Sunday to formalize the deal after a greenlight from Great Olympics.[ads3]
Abbey Quaye was splendid for Great Olympics last season and contributed keenly to the team’s success in the aforementioned season where the club finished the Ghana Premier League on sixth position.
He was an integral member of the Ghana U20 side that won the 2021 African Youth Championship in Mauritania earlier this year.[ads5]
