Asante Kotoko will face off Berekum Chelsea in week two of the Ghana Premier League at the Golden City Park on Sunday.
Having failed to beat Eleven Wonders at home in the league opener, Asante Kotoko look forward to at least pick a point against stubborn Berekum Chelsea side on Sunday afternoon.[ads2]
The likes of Augustine Okrah and Abdul Latif Anabila have been ruled out of the clash due to injury.
How Asante Kotoko could possibly line-up against Berekum Chelsea:
Felix Annan (GK): After his impressive showdown against Eleven Wonders in the first game, Annan looks favorite to start in between the sticks for the Porcupine Warriors despite Kwame Baah impressing at training.
Christopher Nettey (RB): Arguably one of the best players for Asante Kotoko last season. He was unavailable during the club’s first game of the season against Eleven Wonders due to national team (Black Stars) assignment but he has returned and stands favorite to start the right-back role compared to Samuel Frimpong.[ads3]
Imoro Ibrahim (LB): The former Karela United left-back was spectacular in the Porcupine Warriors game against Eleven Wonders and definitely is the man to start for Asante Kotoko at the Golden City Park.
Yusif Mubarik (CB): He had a good game against Eleven Wonders though Kotoko conceded but his performance at the heart of defence for the club was encouraging.
Abdul Ganiyu (CB): Ganiyu had a good game against Eleven Wonders and his partnership with Yusif Mubarik was super and it looks like coach Maxwell Konadu will hand him the starting berth ahead of Habib Mohammed.
Kwame Adom Frimpong (DM): He had a good game against Eleven Wonders at the Accra Sports Stadium last weekend and his qualities in the midfield cannot be questioned. Adom Frimpong looks likely to start for Asante Kotoko against Berekum Chelsea.
Emmanuel Keyekeh (CM): After his impressive debut game for Asante Kotoko against Eleven Wonders, Keyekeh is likely to start his second game for the Porcupines against Chelsea on Sunday afternoon.
Emmanuel Sarkodie (CM): Due to the absence of Abdul Latif Anabila, Sarkodie looks like the perfect option to fill the void against Chelsea and must be looked forward to be given the starting nod.
Evans Adomako (RW): Adomako who had his debut game for Asante Kotoko in the 1:1 stalemate against Eleven Wonders might start the right-wing role this time around after Augustine Okrah was ruled out due to a minor injury.[ads4]
Emmanuel Gyamfi (LW): He is one of the few frequent players in the squad and definitely will start against Berekum Chelsea.
Kwame Opoku (CF): He had an excellent game against Eleven Wonders and even went ahead to score on his debut for Asante Kotoko. There is no qualms about him starting the game against Berekum Chelsea……[ads5]
